To celebrate the release of the first women’s signature basketball shoes in over 10 years – the PUMA Stewie 1 by Breanna Stewart – we created a 2-day activation in the city of Chicago during the 2022 WNBA All-Star Weekend.

A private event space for friends and family of Breanna as well as invited VIPs and tastemakers, the 2-day activation included an intimate, private dinner exclusively for Breanna and her guests on the first evening before the activation space opened up to the guests on the second day.

The specially curated dinner consisted of a three course menu along with cocktails, wine and beverage service. Dinner guests were seated with their personalized nameplate and an exclusive pair of Stewie 1’s in their size.

On day 2, the activation space opened up to invited guests who mingled over passed appetizers and cocktails with music provided by DJ EvieTheCool. Guests took photos at the Quiet Fire photo booth while brand ambassadors took down attendees’ shoe sizes to receive their own gifted pair of Stewie 1s. The custom built, branded mini-basketball court allowed for immediate try-on of the newly released sneakers.
