My team partnered with Scene In Black – HBO Max’s Black Storytelling platform – to bring to life the ultimate premiere party in Miami for Issa Rae’s new HBO Max show Rap Sh!t.

Guests were transported into the world of Rap Shit and were provided with the same treatment as all star rappers. The immersive journey kicked off with a life-size Rap Sh!t logo and social-first entry walls with a special video message from the characters, Mia and Shawna, themselves.

From there, attendees entered the outdoor space of Oasis and were welcomed by our host Supa Cindy as they had the opportunity to try a variety of food vendors and specialty cocktails for the evening “Seduce and Scheme” and “305 We Live.” Guests were then treated to a special screening of Rap Sh!t episode 1, kicked off by Rap Sh!t stars Aida Osman and KaMillion.

Post-screening, the crowd enjoyed an array of interactive experiences throughout the night all to the tune of DJ Dimples. Spotify helped us create a Rap Sh!t Recording Booth where our aspiring “musicians” had the chance to lay down their own tracks leveraging the Feelin’ Myself playlist, equipped with top-notch recording booth props.

Picture-perfect photo moments were abundant as attendees had the chance to make it rain with money guns at our Rap Sh!t Donk. We transformed the indoor space into a true Miami nightclub. We even curated a Refresh Mirror photo opp which included the perfect lighting, “bathroom attendants,” and travel-size treats from Cay Skin and Mented Cosmetics beauty brands. VIP guests were surprised with bottle service featuring Rap Sh!t cocktails thanks to Ciroc and DeLeón.

To close out the evening Dream Doll and Saucy Santana brought flare and fire to the main stage with their surprise performances.
